Scouts

The Kelowna Rockets are built by many dedicated hockey men, scouting North America for young hockey players.

Led by Rockets head scout and assistant general manager Lorne Frey, they have been creditted with helping to build the Rockets into a perennial winning team that has had just four losing seasons since moving to Kelowna in 1995-96 and just one in the past 12 seasons, since the club moved into Prospera Place.

Here is the Kelowna Rockets scouting staff:

Lorne Frey- Kelowna, BC

Scott Barber - Red Deer, AB

Corey Curtis - Edmonton, AB

Bob Fawcett - Saskatoon, SK

Mark Johnston - Brandon, MB

Terry McFaul - Calgary, AB

Dear Rockets,

I am searching for a job around hockey. I can imagine scouting european players for you maybe, but I would be happy with whatever else too. I am Slovakian (european union) and I can send you my biography and references in email if you respond.
Thank you,
Tomas Mikus

Dear Scouting Staff,

I am a USA Hockey level 4 certified hockey coach in Colorado. I coach Valor Christian High School and have successfully obtained BCHL, USHL, NAHL, and AJHL try-outs for my players, I played AAA, junior and college as a player. I was curious if you needed a scout for Colorado and if so, how can I earn this position? I am willing to work as a volunteer.

I would list Stephane Yelle as reference. I will submit his contact information if you are interested.
